Hailed as “superb” by the San Francisco Classical Voice, Alex Granger has premiered over 50 works as a soloist, concertmaster, and chamber musician, working directly with some of the
world’s foremost musicians and composers. Most recently, Alex recorded on an album of music by Donald Crockett in collaboration with HOCKET and the Lyris Quartet, premiered a
chamber work at the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s Noon to Midnight, recorded an album for Warner with the exciting string orchestra, Delirium Musicum, and performed with Danny Elfman
at Coachella. In addition to concertizing in the world’s most prestigious venues, Alex often performs within the nexus of the Skid Row community as a part of Street Symphony and finds
this to be one of the most rewarding aspects of his career. Alex serves on the artistic advisory board for Laós, a new chamber music series in Los Angeles, and is a member of the Long
Beach Symphony. Alex resides in San Pedro with his wife and their sweet little dog, Ella.
